The actual board is very nice! The stitching is solid and the textures and colors are very pleasing. However, the company really went cheap with the checkers. After 3 games, I noticed that at least 3 of the checkers have some nasty cracks in them, like they were cured improperly.
I will be getting some higher quality checkers, but the board is pretty nice!

I would rate this product as average at best. It did arrive on time but had two flaws. One minor flaw is an inperfection (knot of material) in the felt of the game. The other is more significant in that one of the two latches is broken and won't stay closed.

Arrived on time with expedited shipping just before Christmas. Perfect size for family play. Attractive case goes with decor so you don't have to hide it on a shelf or closet. Very pleased with gift purchase.

My son's set was a Christmas gift and came with ALL IVORY chips instead of 15 ivory and 15 brown. When I called to ask for this to be corrected so he can learn the game properly and have a nice, complete set (his first), I was rudely told that nothing can be done about it, because it was ordered in November (is everyone supposed to wait until the day before Christmas to do their shopping...?!?) and now it's been 21 days since Christmas, so that's "too long ago" (however, my 2 e-mails dated 1/02 & 1/08 were never responded to...), so now it's all my fault and he hung-up on me for being upset with their poor service...!
