This set is nice for the price but it does not have the pockets to put the pieces when you are playing backgammon and the pieces are kind of cheap.

Our son(12)loved this chess set!
He said the wood was pretty & the magnet was very strong.
The pieces are not "perfect" but I didn't expect them to be for the price. I would recommend this product.
